The Annual John Pappajohn Iowa Entrepreneurial Venture Competition contest is intended to encourage and promote entrepreneurial activity and create greater awareness of the resources available to entrepreneurs in Iowa. The John Pappajohn venture pitch competition is one of Iowa's highest competitions and the three stage application spans over the course of six months.
Participants are judged on the basis of their written submissions, and if you advance to the later rounds, present to a panel of judges.
This year, Billie Asmus had the opportunity to be one of the top 12 finalists, out of 50 applicants across the state of Iowa, and received Honorable Mention with an award of $4,000.
